The Grundfos SEG grinding pump is a non-self-priming single-stage
centrifugal pump with a horizontal discharge port, specifically
designed for pumping wastewater containing toilet discharges. The
pump is equipped with a grinding system that can grind destructible
solids into small pieces, allowing them to flow away through
relatively small-diameter pipes.
The SEG grinding pump is highly suitable for use in densely
populated areas where a gravity sewage system is not feasible. For
example, in villages, farmlands, and regions with significant
topographical height differences, the pressurized system can offer
advantages. There are two types of installations for the pump:
Submersible installation within the automatic coupling system
Submersible installation, independent type.
The pump is made of wear-resistant materials such as cast iron and
stainless steel. These materials ensure reliable operation. The
surface of the pump is smooth to prevent dirt and impurities from
adhering. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel clamps fix the motor
to the pump casing, facilitating the maintenance of the pump. The
SmartTrim system enables easy adjustment of the impeller clearance,
ensuring the highest efficiency throughout the service life of the
pump.
This series is designed to reduce energy consumption, minimize the
cost of downtime, and maintain optimal performance throughout the
entire life cycle of the system. The pump is an explosion-proof
pump.
